RON PAUL IS STILL AROUND — LET’S LISTEN TO HIM

I should take this occasion to explain myself to everybody. I’m not a Republican. Never have been. I almost always VOTE Republican, because the Democrats are beyond the pale. Most all the Republican flaws are just the same as Democrat flaws, only usually a little watered down. Of course I voted for Ron Paul in the caucuses, and he remains, for me, the measure of all other politicians. This year, I’ve decided to support the Republican ticket, solely for the reason that Palin is on it. I think she has possibilities, as she seems to be relatively free of the horrible political culture you find in both parties, so I want her to have the chance. If I’m disappointed, I’ve been disappointed before.
And now to today’s cartoon. Steve Sailer tells us how we got into this mess.

    1. Some of the “Pig” issues are deflation and unemployment. Just some ideas for future cartoons.

    2. wow, this cartoon is fracking awesome!

    3. Must disagree with you on voting for Palin though. 3rd party is the only reasonable choice we have now. The public is rising up with the bailout outraging them, hopefully we can swing it into a huge movement to throw out the corrupt powers that be.

You’ve heard her talk and you want to vote for her anyway because “she has possibilities”.

Another opinion I’ll be happy to ignore.

Tracey may well be right. It’s a hell of a decision. But since Colorado is in the toss-up category, I’ll vote for McCain to keep Obama out, and to give Palin a chance. If she doesn’t know much, that’s a plus, because the other three know a lot of stuff that ain’t so. That’s the best I can do:)
